The Role

As Tech Lead, you’ll balance hands-on development with technical project management as you lead a team of engineers to architect, build, and maintain high-quality software solutions. While your primary focus will be coding, you’ll also play a critical role in guiding junior engineers, collaborating with stakeholders, and aligning technical objectives with business goals.

Your Profile

• Able to contribute to architectural decisions, manage resources, and ensure on-time & on-budget project delivery.
• Able to anticipate potential bottlenecks, explore new tools or frameworks, and recommend process enhancements to keep projects running smoothly.
• Able to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and refine software solutions that meet and exceed user needs.
• Able to set the overall technical direction for your team and continuously identify areas of improvement, both in the codebase and within the broader development process.
• Able to mentor junior engineers through regular feedback and support, fostering a culture of autonomy and continuous improvement.
• Able to work autonomously, make decisions independently, and deliver results even in changing or ambiguous circumstances.

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years of industrial software development experience or open-source contributions.
• In-depth understanding of computer science principles.
• Comfortable with setting up and configuring development environments from scratch, including CI/CD pipelines or cloud deployments, is a great advantage.
• A BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience (not a hard requirement if compensated by relevant industry background or contributions to open-source projects).
• Strong proficiency in our core tech stack:
